                                                  CHAPTER 1   The car speed down the tree-lined avenue leading into the English town. Felicity watched from the window. She loved this time of year; the air was fresh and full of love. The avenue led to the main street, which was now lit by thousands of Christmas lights.   All along the way, the trees were decorated with glittering garlands of lights and colorful baubles, with a predominance of white, red, and green, creating a magical and joyful atmosphere.
